Food and Birthdays

In many cultures in the world, special events are celebrated with food πŸ™‚
When the hubby celebrated his birthday on the 22nd, we decided to have lunch together at a restaurant after attending that Sunday’s worship service at church. We decided to try an eat-all-you-can restaurant in the city (Butuan).
We were quite happy that there were 7 courses to choose from πŸ™‚ And as this was a restaurant in the Philippines, there was rice, of course. We had a choice between plain rice and fried rice. Soup was also available as well as dessert which included fruits. The meal also included drinks. Anyways, just in case you are not familiar with the eat-all-you-can concept I’m talking about; it just really means that it’s a buffet meal with a set price per person. And yes, you can eat as much as you like πŸ™‚
