A trip to Phuket (Thailand) would not be complete without checking out James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay and yes, taking a photo there 🙂

James Bond Island is an island in Phang Nga Bay, northeast of Phuket. The island is originally called Khao Phing Kan or Ko Khao Phing Kan but has been popularly called James Bond Island since it was featured in the James Bond movie, The Main with a Golden Gun in 1974.

That islet or limestone rock just behind me and my hubby in the photo is Ko Tapu or Khao Tapu. It is only 40 meters (130 ft) from James Bond Island and it is  20 meters or 66 feet tall.
