If you were asked, how do you bond with your family? What would your answer be?
As for me, two things come to mind: travelling and eating together. Why travelling? Because my family members as well as my husband’s are based in different parts of the Philippines and yes, even abroad. To bond together, travel has to be part of the picture.
And when we are finally together, we eat. That’s right. Isn’t that part of Filipino culture and even Asian culture? Ah, no family bonding is complete without those shared meals. Over delicious food, we then share stories, jokes, new insights, challenges, dreams. And true enough some of the best photos I have had with the family have been taken near or around a dining table π
Below are a couple of shots of our precious family bonding moments. And yes, we were at the dining table π

I suppose we can never go wrong with eating. It’s a universal bonding moment, I believe. π Full stomachs and happy hearts…nothing could beat that right?
nothing beats the excitement traveling with your loved ones…
eating, watching movies and favorite TV programs are my family’s ways of bonding together; these are precious moments i cherish

Family bonding is really incomplete without the FOOD!
Nice bonding time. Eating also is one of our family bonding time.
Eating along with your family and friends is the best. The talks, the stories while eating, nothing beats it.
Yup, I agree with you, Sis! Eating and traveling together are the best bonding moments for families. We have the same way of bonding together. π
Travelling + Bonding + Eating = BEST COMBO EVER! I love hanging out with the family and travelling (even if it means I have to suffer motion sickness). π
We bond whenever there is special occasion so that means lot of foods. lol. i also like to travel with my family, hope we have an out of town vacation.

Food has brought so many families closer to each other. This is the best family bonding I’ve known through the years π
I love family bonding too… time seems tick so fast and you are wishing not to end that moment.
It is my goal to travel with my whole family. To bring my kids to places that God created wonders. We’ve started with our of town trips first then if there’s extra budget then maybe to farther places. π
Most of my family are already here so we hardly have to travel to see family. But eating is a big part of family bonding! π
Hey, I live in Butuan. Small world. π
We don’t do travelling. But we sure love to eat. π It’s the best bonding time we can have.

This is really true. When we travel with our family, we always share our laughter together during meal time…Travel and Eating together with the family is a real bonding time.
Great family bonding!
We do eat a lot, but rarely travel nowadays.
With limited budget we just choose to bond and share stories over our favorite food.
