“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”  It was St. Augustine who once said this. I couldn’t agree with him more. Travelling is not just about sheer enjoyment; it is also a means of enlarging our world view. Taking vacations in other places, in other countries should be something that we welcome and even aim for. This opens us up to new experiences, new insights.
When I had the chance to take a trip to Thailand for the first time some years back, it enabled me to see so many beautiful things about Thai culture. And experiencing Thai culture also enabled me to re-examine and appreciate my own culture.
While taking trips and enjoying a vacation in other places, other countries could be enjoyable and beneficial, other people will still not look forward to doing so. And their main reason? And yes, let it be known that it is also possible to live cheap during vacations. Before taking that trip, one could also put away a portion of one’s monthly salary or bonus to save up for it.
Taking those vacations do not really mean facing a huge financial burden. It is possible to enjoy them within one’s means.
