It was a nice sunny day when I went to visit the Louvre Museum. The glass and metal pyramid in the background is the Louvre Pyramid which serves as the main entrance to the museum. This structure, which was highly controversial when it was first built, has now become a landmark in Paris.
When queues are long in the main entrance, an alternate entrance is via the underground shopping mall.
