“I have never seen anything like it!” was my jaw-dropping exclamation when we went to check-in. There were like 10 counters for checking-in or it could be more. I stopped counting when I got to 10. I looked around. Nope we are not in the airport. We are in the hotel reception lobby in Las Vegas.
Everything about Las Vegas is big, huge. The Las Vegas strip or commonly known as “The Strip” is a 6.8 km (4.2 miles) of road known for its concentration of hotels and casinos. The structures along the strip are like buildings on steroids! Out of the world’s 25 largest hotels by room count, 15 are on the Strip with a total of over 62,000 rooms.
The MGM Grand where I took the photo is the second largest hotel in the world. Although it was the largest hotel in the world from 1993-2006, the Venetian and The Palazzo complex now holds the title for the world’s largest hotel.
