The Japanese government has just recently made known that Japan is ready for more tourists. In fact, it has decided to waive visa requirements for tourists from Thailand and Malaysia. It has also allowed the issuance of multiple-entry visas for visitors coming from Vietnam and the Philippines.

The Japanese government aims to increase their visitors up to 2 million by 2016. While Japan is doing this to help boost its economy, this is also good news for travelers from the Southeast Asian countries.
