What’s Keeping You Busy as a Bee?

Hello, my dear readers and followers.

What’s been keeping you busy as a bee lately?

Well, as for me, let it be known that at the moment, travel is not keeping me busy. My husband and I had a couple of trips together last year, and then we had another one or two separate ones. And for this year, a trip is tentatively scheduled by the end of the year or during Christmas break.

Aside from our daytime jobs (him) and projects (me), we continue to be involved in community mission efforts and in promoting/advocating for mental health, which is close to my heart as someone with a Psychology/Counseling background (bachelor’s and master’s). The health concerns of my husband’s mom (my mother-in-law) are also a major concern this time.

Now, apart from all of this, I am also working on a new site where I post about some of my personal reflections and things or events that have inspired me. Yes, this is quite a personal site. But it is something that has been helping me get out of bed a little faster during days when I feel low. This is the site in case you want to drop by and check it out: Word By Day. You can go ahead and click and visit that site.

Another thing keeping my days full is that I am working on a possible memoir of my time in Thailand (yes, I lived there for 3 years). I am also working on a poetry chapbook/collection. Polishing it and also doing translation on some poems I have written in my local language (Bisaya/Cebuano). Stay tuned, as I will be sharing some sites/publications where my poetry has been published through the years.

Thank you for being part of this journey! More stories are yet to be told. I hope you are well!
