While on a trip to Thailand, you might include checking out a Thai Buddhist temple as part of your itinerary. Now, this shouldn’t be a difficult thing to do. After all, there are 40, 717 Buddhist temples (as of 2004) all over “the Land of the Free.”
You actually have plenty of temple choices to go to while in Thailand. However, it might interest you that there is a very accessible temple in Bangkok. It is just right beside the famed Siam Paragon.
Located along Rama 1 Road, Pathumwanaram Temple (Wat Pathumwanaram) is indeed but a few steps away from Siam Paragon. Take note that this temple was built way back in 1857 by King Mongkut. This temple was the nearest place of worship to his Sa Pathum Palace.
The temple (as well as Siam Paragon) is accessible by sky train. You can get off at Siam station and walk there. It is open from 9 am to 4 pm.

Wow! What a tall and beautiful white temple Sis Deli 🙂 Dropping for Wednesday Whites 🙂
Actually, the white structure is a stupa or chedi found within the temple yards. Just behind it is the temple.
