Philippines Travel Photo of the Week

Travel Photo of the Week 19

After ascending what seemed like a thousand steps in a day that was especially humid, our guide led us to a rest stop and as we turn to look at the view, my breathing stopped for a few seconds. This is the iconic photo of the entrance to Kayangan Lake. The ache in my leg muscles seemed to disappear as I take in the beauty in front of me.
One of the boats docked down there is our boat. I can’t believe we climbed this high but the view is so worth it.
Just in case you may wonder where Kayangan Lake is – it is in Coron, Palawan in The Philippines.
