When It’s Time to Pack

How do you go about packing your things as you travel? Well, there are three things that I automatically think about as I pack: a list of things to bring so that I don’t forget anything, the kind and size of bags I will be bringing and packing containers or cubes I would need to use to efficiently pack my stuff.

Speaking of packing containers or cubes, I recently came across this 4 Set Packing Cubes – Travel Organizers with Laundry Bag. Here it is:

If you’re wondering about their sizes/dimensions, here they are:

The sizes as we see above, I think, are just right. And yes, a laundry bag would be very useful for your dirty clothes which you would eventually have during your trip. The cubes could be used to divide your clothes, underwear, toiletries and even your gadgets. When you’ve filled in the cubes, this is how the inside of your luggage could look like:

This 4 Set Packing Cubes – Travel Organizers with Laundry Bag is made of high-quality Nylon with YKK zipper. The packing cubes have mesh top panel for easy identification of contents and ventilation. These can easily fit in most airline carry-on suitcases. It can also fit inside your tote, weekender, backpacks and even duffel bags. When it’s time to pack, you can do so efficiently. Pack smart and enjoy your trip.

Traveling, Performing and Having that Look

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

I have to admit that some of my more interesting and “nerve-racking” trips have actually involved me performing before an audience.

A couple of these trips which my job required involved me leading a song before a large group of people. And there was another trip which challenged me to perform a dance together with my group of friends. This last trip meant that we needed to put on some costumes. Looking back now, I thought we would have been more interesting to the audience had we gone one more extra step of altering our looks a bit. And this would have been simply and easily made possible just by donning on a wig.

Here are 3 wigs which would have made us look a bit “more interesting” and glammed up as we did our dance routine:

  • This Zury Sis Wig Viola Color Sombre would have made a difference on our look for that night. You see its play of shades would have had looked well as the lights were trained on us for that performance.

  • This Bobbi Boss Wig – M899 Yvetra would have really helped the look of the “fairy character” in our performance. The color would have given our co-performer an ethereal look.

  • I have to say though that a clean, no-nonsense look would still be great to have on a performance. So this Bobbi Boss Wig – M896 Andrea would have made sense for some of us in the group.

For a change in look as you and I perform before an audience, it is not hard to do really with the help of a wig or two (or more!). There are great wigs to choose from Divatress.

Travelling to Music Festivals in 2017

Do you like going to concerts  or music festivals?

While I like going to concerts, I have not yet taken one step forward that others would do — travel to another city or even country just to enjoy the live music of their favorite artists in a concert or in a music festival. Speaking of music festivals, here are some which are scheduled to run this year:

    • Exit in Novi Sad, Serbia.  If you’re into electronic, hiphop, punk, metal, reggae and rock music, then this can be the festival for you. Organized yearly since 2000, it is scheduled to run July 6-19, 2017.
    • Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium. If dancing and electronic music is your thing, then you might enjoy this July 21-30 festival. It would be likely that electronic music DJ’s taking the stage will be geared with the best headphones, hdj might even be their choice for the night.
    •  Splendour in the Grass in Byron Bay, Australia. The “land down under” also has its own music festival which will run this coming July 21-23. This annual event has been held since 2001 and features alternative, electronic, hip hop and indie rock music.
  • Fuji Rock in Yuzawa, Niigata Perfecture, Japan. Reportedly one of the largest music festivals not just in Asia but the world, this will fill the air with rock and electronic music on July 28-30.
  • Rock in Rio, Brazil. This music festival traces its first one back in 1985. Other than in Brazil, it has also been held in different locations including in Portugal, Spain and the USA. This year, it is set on September 15-17 and 21-24 in Rio.

So how about you, would you be travelling for a concert or music festival this year?
