Take Us to the River

If you have traveled to Bohol, you must have heard about the Loboc River.
The Loboc River, located in the town of Loboc, Bohol, has become a major tourist attraction in Bohol and could be counted as one of the country’s frequented places by both local and foreign tourists. Loboc is about 23 kilometers from Bohol’s capital city, Tagbilaran. That’s only about 20 minutes drive from the city.
Through the efforts of the local government of Loboc and some partner groups, the river’s surroundings have been much improved through the years.
You can enjoy one of the floating restaurants traversing the river. Local songs are also performed on board for the guests.
Although my family and I have had the chance to enjoy the floating restaurant and the river cruise in Loboc several times, one distinct experience we had was enjoying it one time at night. My hubby and I thought it was lovely πŸ™‚
Below are a couple of shots while we were cruising Loboc River at night πŸ™‚

A cruise at night gives a more quiet and romantic view of the river and its surroundings
